Return Policy

We want you to be thrilled with every purchase you make. You can return a Grommet whether it’s because it isn’t what you expected or you just changed your mind. For all purchases made on or after January 1, 2021, the return window is 30 calendar days after the receipt of the item.

Note there are some common-sense exceptions, like health and hygiene items, perishables, or a product that you’ve used up or that’s performed its expected number of uses.

Custom, made-to-order items are also not returnable.  We will be glad to replace a custom item if it is damaged in transit.



For a speedy, smooth return, please fill out a return form using our Make A Return link here. That gets us all the details to handle your refund as quickly as we can.

After we get your Return Form, we'll email you a return shipping label. Print that label and use it to return your products. 

Please note: “Reason for Return” options such as "Defective", "Other", "Too Large", and "Too Small" require a review and manual approval by one of our Customer Experience agents so that we may determine how to best assist you with your return or exchange.

Because of this, your return shipping label will not be emailed immediately after submitting your return request. A shipping label will be emailed after approval from our Customer Experience team. You should receive your label within 24 hours of submitting your return request. There may be delays in this process during times of high volume like the winter holidays.

Please note: You must use our return label in order to have your return processed. We are unable to reimburse return labels that haven’t been issued by Grommet.


If your Grommet arrived damaged, defective or you received the wrong item, return shipping is on us. For other returns, we’ll deduct the cost from your refund.

We know that some large companies offer free return shipping, and we hope someday we’re big enough to do the same. Until then, we’re working hard to keep rates as low as possible.



Getting your refund takes about 7-10 business days after the item has been delivered back to us. You’ll receive a credit to your original form of payment (credit card or PayPal). If you’re returning a gift, you’ll get a gift card or store credit.



We happily provide free exchanges for the same product in a size, color, or pattern that's currently in stock.  If there is any price difference in the items, our Customer Experience team will work with you on either a refund or an additional charge for the difference. 

Visit our Make a Return Form, and choose "Other" as the reason for return. In the box that appears for comments, let us know what size/color/pattern that you would like an exchange for.

An agent from our team will get in touch via email and we'll send you a printable postage-paid label for you to return your item, and once we see it's on its way back to us, we'll ship you the replacement item.
